Which CF-19 generation should I buy?
Every Core i5 CF-19 shares the same 10.1" convertible body and 6000-nit touchscreen. The Standard (mk5) is the budget choice. The Performance (mk6) adds USB 3.0, Bluetooth 4.0 and an SSD. The Elite (mk7, 2.7GHz, 16GB, 500GB SSD) is the best seller. The mk8 adds a mini-SIM slot for 4G LTE. Not sure? Ask us and we'll match a generation to your software.

Is the CF-19 new or refurbished?
Refurbished. Panasonic has stopped making the CF-19, so every unit we sell is Grade A, like-new refurbished and tested, with a warranty you can extend to 3 years. For a new fully rugged 2-in-1, see the Toughbook CF-33.
Is the CF-19 a laptop or a tablet?
Both. It is a convertible: the screen swivels and folds flat over the keyboard to turn the laptop into a tablet.
Does the CF-19 have a touchscreen?
Yes, every CF-19 has a touchscreen. Dual-touch models add a digitizer pen.
What is the CF-19's screen resolution?
1024 × 768 (XGA). The mk5–mk8 screen is 10.1" and up to 6000 nits; the mk1–mk4 screen is 10.4".
Is the CF-19 fully rugged?
Yes. The mk4–mk8 are tested to MIL-STD-810G and MIL-STD-461F and sealed to IP65.
How many USB ports does the CF-19 have?
Two USB-A ports: USB 2.0 on the mk1–mk5, and one USB 3.0 plus one USB 2.0 on the mk6–mk8.
Does the CF-19 have a DVD drive?
No, but an external USB DVD drive is an option you can add.
